Commercial Kitchen Cleaning in Washington & Washington, DC
A commercial kitchen never really closes. The fryer cools at midnight and the prep list starts at six, and in between, grease keeps doing what grease does. Wipe-downs hold the line for a while. Then one day the health inspector runs a gloved finger where nobody looks, and the line between passing and a posted violation is whatever lives under the equipment. Our crews go in after close and reset the whole room: floors, drains, equipment, stainless, walls. The signature tool is steam. High-temperature steam cuts grease at the surface and gets into grout lines and equipment seams that chemicals alone never reach.
01The Scope
What a kitchen reset covers
The grill line gets pulled and cleaned behind and beneath: grills, flat tops, fryers, and ranges, plus the floor and wall surfaces they hide. Steam restoration brings back stainless and tile that look permanently stained; most kitchens are shocked at what is recoverable. Prep tables, sinks, and drains are included only as agreed, with methods selected for the surface and site requirements.
Beyond the line: walk-in coolers emptied of buildup, ice machine exteriors, breakrooms, staff restrooms, and storage rooms. We build the program around your operation and your health department checklist, one deep reset or an agreed recurring schedule.
One honest limit: we do not clean exhaust hoods or filters. That is a specialized fire-safety trade with its own certification, and you want a dedicated hood contractor doing it. We are glad to point you to one we trust, and we clean everything below the hood to the same standard they hold above it.

02Timeline
Kitchen cleaning is planned around your operating hours where possible. Access, equipment, buildup, crew availability, and the approved scope determine timing; confirm the reopening plan with the office.
03Pricing
Quoted from a walk-through of your actual line, because a six-burner cafe and a full hotel kitchen are different animals. The first reset costs the most; keeping it that way costs a fraction. Written quote, no obligation.
Every estimate is written for your exact space and scope, free, after a walk-through. No pricing games.

Services for your facility
Clear answers
Before you arrange this service
Does kitchen cleaning include exhaust hoods or filters?
No. Kitchen exhaust hoods and filters require the appropriate specialist. Tell the office which surfaces, equipment surroundings, floors, and grease buildup need attention so the cleaning scope stays clear.
Will equipment be moved or dismantled?
That must be agreed before the job. Equipment connections, weight, clearance, and manufacturer requirements affect what can be accessed safely. Do not assume that appliance disconnection or dismantling is included.
Can you work when the kitchen is closed?
Give the office the shutdown window, reopening deadline, food-storage requirements, and available utilities. We confirm the scope and a suitable schedule around those constraints.
How is the estimate worked out?
The office reviews the size, condition, access, materials, and work you want completed. Photos help with the initial discussion; a walkthrough may be needed. Scope and pricing are agreed before work begins.
